![]() In November, 1985 Keith Donald Johnson Collins was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the Inner City Faith Congress; W. I. Graves, Sr., President and Pastor of St. Phillips Baptist Church. At the age of 19 he preached his “initial sermon” and received his ministerial license from Pastor Graves. He has served in the capacity of Assistant Pastor at Freedom Christian Bible Fellowship in Philadelphia from February 14, 1992 until July 2000. His duties included all pastoral assignments in the absence of Bishop Gilbert Coleman Jr. These included but were not limited to ministry of the Word, church administration, counseling, conflict resolution, financial teaching and visiting the sick members. On the fourth Sunday in August 2000, Pastor Collins taught his first lesson as the Pastor of Church of the Overcomer. He is currently training leaders as he plants the church in Trainer Pennsylvania. Church Of The Overcomer is a member of LWIA (Living Waters International Alliance) under the direction of Bishop Steven W. Banks of Newport News Virginia. Pastor Collins is a graduate of Geneva College, Beaver Falls, Pa. where he received his BS degree in Urban Ministry Management. He holds M.B.S. & D.Min. Degrees from Friends International Christian University and is currently completing his Ph.D. dissertation. Pastor Collins is also listed in the Heritage Registry of Who’s Who In America.
Keith Collins was born May 3, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA. He is a graduate of Central High School for boys, where he lettered in football and received the coveted Barnwell Award for Academic Excellence, and an Honorary Bachelor of Arts Degree. On August 7, 1982 Keith married Carolyn Ewell and adopted her two sons (Carlton & Brandon) as his own. Keith and Carolyn Collins currently reside in Ridley Park Pennsylvania. Pastor Collins is an avid reader and loves to travel. In his spare time he participates in cycling and long distance running events. He recently completed two marathons (Suzuki Rock & Roll in San Diego, California, and 2000 Disney in Orlando, Florida) as a part of the Leukemia Society’s Team in Training. On most weekends you can find Pastor Keith (as he is affectionately called) enjoying his grandchildren Brittany, Isaiah and Enyla. Because of his intense desire to reach the world with the gospel and deepen his sensitivity to other cultures, he has been blessed to travel on missionary trips to Ghana and Nigeria West Africa. Pastor Collins has also completed a Pilgrimage Study to the Holy Land visiting Israel, Egypt and Greece. Those that sit under his teaching will discover their Destiny through the revelation of God’s Word.

Teaching International Seminary and Heath Missions College-Adjunct Professor. Philadelphia Mennonite High School- Old Testament/New Testament Survey, Life Skills (Marriage Preparation/Financial Planning). Community/Charitable Involvement Organized a neighborhood rally against drugs in September of 1986 and successfully closed down a known drug trafficking operation at 5th & Poplar Streets, Philadelphia, PA. Participated with the Leukemia Society of America’s Team In Training Program raising over $7,000.00 Mentoring 1997 to Present Certified United Way Faith Based Mentor. Facilitator of Boys2Men, a faith based program for young men 13-18 years old, consisting of a Relational Phase, Instructional Phase and, Crossing Ceremony.
